Around Lititz, specialist offices tend to cluster near hospitals and in medical office parks, and wait times for a consultation run from a few days for an endodontist to several weeks for a busy orthodontist. Most consultations across Pennsylvania are free or low-cost and come with a written treatment plan and price; ask whether the fee is in-network for your plan, what sedation options exist and how many visits the treatment takes. I cannot say enough about the expertise of Dr. Kusienski. I had an old root canal (maybe 10 or more years) that had gotten infected. The first visit had to clean that all out and I needed antibiotics. The next visit, the temporary filler had to be removed and the next step completed before I could forge ahead and proceed with a crown. When you have a need, she calls back immediately. When you have work done, you get called several days in a row to check on how youβre feeling and if everything is OK! Iβm so elated that I picked Dr. Kusienski from a list given to me by my dentist! AND, after the crown is finally put in, she will get in touch with me after 6 months to make an appointment for an x-ray to see all is healing well! Trust me, she will be my βgo toβ for any more endodontic work I may need in the future! π

In the past, I myself have had many root canals. When I found out my son needed to get one done, I was very stressed about it. He has anxiety and is on the spectrum, so naturally I was expecting a challenging experience. My son did amazing here. He was able to have nitrous oxide, they had music to play on headphones during the procedure, they offered blankets and stress balls, and he was allowed to bring a comfort item if he wished. They explained everything not just to me, but to him, and asked if he had any questions. Dr. Kusienski and her team were gentle, understanding and continuously check in with him to make sure he was doing okay throughout. My son didn't even have a lot of discomfort afterward, just needed some ibuprofen that evening and one time the next day, and he was good to go. I am incredibly relieved and happy that I chose this office to go to. I would highly recommend them in general, but especially if you have fears about the procedure. It went smoother than I expected any root canal to be. Thanks very much to Dr. Kusienski and team for helping us. :)

My dentist of many years recommended Dr Kusienski to decide if I needed a root canal. The staff, from scheduling , arrival, the assistant doing X-rays to meeting Dr Kusienski were all 1st rate. I absolutely loved the Dr. She was very kind and explained every detail of my X-rays, showing me where the problems were and options for treatment. I have a very good relationship with my current dentist, if anything changes I certainly will go back to Dr Kusienski. Probably one of the best experiences I have had over the years. I highly recommend this practice.
